World Environment Day (WED) strives to raise awareness and encourage action for the environment. It offers an opportunity to reflect on accomplishments and renew our resolve in overcoming the environmental challenges facing the world today. 

2024 is the 51th anniversary of World Environment Day. Over the past five decades, the day has grown to be one of the largest global platforms for environmental outreach. Tens of millions of people take part along with governments, companies, cities and community organizations. This year's theme is Restoration Generation, reminding us that we can be the ones to restore our land, water, and environments.
